Have fun being creative and spread some cheer around with friendship bracelets

Friendship bracelets have always been a great way to express your creativity as well as your friendship, they're fun to make, and to give!

They seem to be different every year, and the woven bracelets of today seem to have come a long way since the "friendship pins" of my day. Back then it was easy, we just put our favorite colored beads on a safety pin and attached it to our shoes or clothes in the early '80's.

Then in the late '80's woven beaded bracelets were abundant, and for those who couldn't master those intricate patterns, stores everywhere had them. Some had words and names beaded into them, and some had flowers, smileys, and other cute pictures.

Somewhere during the '80's the popular woven bracelets of today started. These are made from about four to seven pieces of thread braided or woven together in attractive patterns.

Whatever the style is, it's always fun to come up with your own unique ideas, and friends are always happy to get these one-of-a-kind special gifts. So spread some cheer around, with the gift of friendship!
